W.R.U. Insurance cover to be effected.
•There are various levels of fees and membership categories. Players and
Parents /Guardians should enquire as to which best suits their situation.
• Sunday morning training sessions for Mini Teams start at 10:00 a.m. and
for and Junior Teams at 11:00 a.m. For details of midweek training times

• If a player cannot attend a training session or a game please let your
Coach know in good time.
• Players should report to Coaches in the changing rooms. Players should
not hang around outside, particularly in the car park. There are a number
of inherent danger areas around the club.
• It would be appreciated if Parents /Guardians supervise their children
when in and around the club. Parents /Guardians of children under the
age of twelve must remain on the Club premises with their child during
training and matches.
• Parents /Guardians of children over twelve years of age not wishing
to be present for the whole training session or match must ensure they
return in good time before the agreed end of the activity to collect their
child. Parents /Guardians are requested to confirm the anticipated finish
time with the respective Team Coach.
• Players should provide their own black shorts and socks. (These can be
purchased at the Club Shop).
• Rugby is a contact sport. At this age all players require and must wear
a mouth guard, shin pads, and football/rugby boots. All boots must be
fitted with aluminium studs. Rubber blades are permitted but not plastic
or nylon. Head protection may also be considered.

layers of clothing are best. We would suggest: tracksuit top, sweatshirt
and rugby shirt. In extremely cold weather tracksuit bottoms and woolly
hat may also be necessary.
• Players will inevitably get covered in mud. The Club does provide shower
facilities. Players may come prepared with a washing kit and a fresh change
of clothes. Players will not be allowed from the changing rooms to other

pocket money may be useful for buying extra food and drinks.
• Players should advise their Coach of any permanent or temporary medical
condition which may affect their fitness level or recovery from injury.
• Basic W.R.U. Insurance, in the highly unlikely event that it will ever
be required, automatically covers all registered players. However, Parents
/Guardians may wish to consider a separate All Risks Insurance which provides
a greater level of cover.
• If you have any questions or queries please speak to your Coach or one
of the Club Officials.
